Hi all from chilly Atlanta, GA. This post finds me missing the troop and crew terribly while I tend to family business far from Houston. Some might consider missing a boy scout meeting to be no big deal, even two. But when it has been just a week and one day, and the number of absences accrues to two crew meetings, two boy scout meetings, a troop fair, and a fantastic campout to Pedernales State Park. AUGH!
We all joke about how much time we spend scouting, but when you find yourself without it for a week, and moreover, a super-week, it’s shocking to the system. Alas, I’ll be back to Houston, and in the thick of it, next week. I can’t wait for normalcy.
I totally agree with and can’t see why not more people are affected this way it just does not make any sense at all.
