Colleen is Dual Scout Mom
She didn’t know it, but it turns out she too is an outdoor enthusiast. It took her a little longer to discover this passion. She knew she was addicted to scouting, but it wasn’t until her younger son moved up to Boy Scouts and she went on her first Boy Scout Campout in March of 2007 that she figured out why her husband never complained about camping. It’s a whole different world.
Since that time, she’s become an Assistant Scout Master with Troop 483, survived the C.O.P.E. Facilitator training, (almost) conquered her fear of falling to be a Climbing Instructor, and most recently, become the Crew Adviser for Crew 483. Her goals for 2008 are to become a COPE Director, kiss her fear of falling goodbye once and for all, and begin seeing the world with the Crew.
You’ll find her posting on the home page with her random pondering and Venture Crew 483 page from time to time about the adventures of the Crew.

Hi mister Eagle:
In response to your requst about how to get a signed copy of my ghost story book, I’d like to add one thing to the comments on HoustonScouts…
Cypress isn’t so far from here. I would consider doing a story program for your troop sometime if you like.

Howdy Gary,
I’m home with pneumonia. Got sick this weekend and am coughing blood today. Sorry I missed the Sunday Court of Honor. I’m not feeling well or I’d have tried to call earlier. Likely to be out the rest of this week.
