Discipline is a part of leadership, and a good leader keeps that in mind. It isn’t always pleasant, but it is necessary, and if done in a spirit of love and concern, all are better because of it.
Sometimes we need to be reminded that there are two reasons why a leader must discipline those he leads:
- The first is to make right the thing that was wrong.
- The second is to make the person right that was wrong.
OK… I’ll say it. And the third is to right the parent who thinks their scout is a little angel.
