A Scout is Kind

Kind isn’t something we do only when someone can see us.  Kind is more of a state of being and it comes from the heart.  A kind nature is just that, it isn’t something we can create.  If someone pretends to be kind, but isn’t, it show itself sooner than later.  However, it is something we can practice; for practice makes habit, and habit makes consistence.

An act of kindness goes a long way.  If you pick up a chore and do it, without being asked, without being seen, without asking for recognition…. that is a simple act of kindness.
