This past Saturday we had my son’s Eagle Scout Court of Honor. Both Gary and my wife planned the ceremoney, which was kept simple. Since I have been involved with him in Scouts since he was a Tiger, I was very proud and honored to place his Eagle neckerchief and slide on him. His Mom and I were very proud as he gave his speech giving credit to God, family, other Eagles in the troop, leaders and scouts for achieving the highest rank in Scouting. Gary challenged our new Scouts in the Troop to set their own goals for earning the Eagle rank.
